Granted, we are not exactly digitally-minded, tuned in, turned on, and obsessive about our participation in the binary world of cyber communication.  Which surely is a shamed-face understatement at bare minimum.  However, after pruning the roses, perfecting recipes from Latvia and Sri Lanka, poring over maps of ancient Mesopotamia, and learning to juggle fresh lemons blindfolded, we somehow never get around to doing what is both in our self-interest and our responsibility to the literary community.
